La Scala offers a number of options for private event bookings. For all of these, our Marketing Department undertakes a number of initiatives aimed at making the most of your sponsored event.
Corporate Events at season performances
You may book the following events:
- operas and ballets: premieres and other performances outside the subscription series, with partial use (min. 20 seats, max. 600 seats) or full use (1,800 seats) of the auditorium.
- season concerts: partial use of the auditorium (min. 20 seats, max. 120 seats).
Off-programme Corporate Events
La Scala offers the opportunity to arrange private performances with your choice of programme. At these evenings, your guests can enjoy orchestral concerts, song recitals, chamber music concerts and other performances. La Scala’s artistic management and its Marketing Department will work in partnership with you to design your programme for the evening.
Organising a Corporate Event at La Scala includes the following:
- Communications/PR: in collaboration with La Scala’s Marketing Department, develop tailor-made initiatives to raise awareness of and promote your involvement as the evening’s sponsor
- Credits: your logo and a thank-you message for your collaboration in planning the event will appear on all playbills, posters and inserts relating to the evening’s performance
- Welcome desk: help desk for your guests in the Foyer
- Programmes for your guests
- Advertisements: free full-page advertisement in the programme for every performance of the opera/ballet/concert, with layout to be defined by mutual agreement
- Wardrobe: La Scala’s wardrobes, located at the back of the boxes, and our auditorium staff are on hand to cater for your guests
- Merchandising: purchase discounted and personalised products (audio and video recordings, books and other gifts) from the La Scala Shop.
To make your evening even more memorable, La Scala offers the opportunity to organise the following functions:
- pre-performance cocktails in the Theatre Museum (6:30pm to 8pm), including a guided tour of the Museum’s collection
- post-performance dinner in the Gallery Foyer and, if you have full use of the auditorium, the A. Toscanini Boxes Foyer.
Open rehearsals
Attending an opera or ballet rehearsal with your guests makes for a uniquely interesting and alternative behind-the-scenes experience, with memories to last a lifetime.
The options for attending open rehearsals are as follows:
- Full rehearsals (opera/ballet): minimum 20 guests, maximum 300 guests
La Scala undertakes the following PR and promotional activities for open rehearsal events:
- Communications/PR: in collaboration with La Scala’s Marketing Department, develop tailor-made initiatives to raise awareness of and promote your involvement
- Welcome desk: help desk for your guests in the Foyer
- Wardrobe: La Scala’s wardrobes, located at the back of the boxes, and our auditorium staff are on hand to cater for your guests.
