For the first time, Teatro alla Scala has commissioned an opera for a young audience by a contemporary composer. Pierangelo Valtinoni took inspiration from the famous story by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry to create a new work that will witness its world première directed by Polly Graham, with the La Scala Academy Soloists, Orchestra, and Children’s Choir conducted by Vitali Alekseenok.
