Carla Fracci was and will always remain a cardinal figure in the history of dance. Hers is a story of talent, perseverance, and work that has inspired and continues to inspire generations of young people in ballet and beyond. Ballet Director Manuel Legris has instituted a seasonal Gala to celebrate dance and ballet in her honour. La Scala and its artists again pay tribute to this legendary étoile in the 2024–2025 Season. The Gala is one of the most eagerly awaited events, embellished with the stunning performances of the Ballet Company and their special guests in a splendid constellation of traditional and contemporary creativity.
