Located in Milan’s Via Tortona zone, where the Fuori Salone del Mobile design fair and Milan fashion week events are held, the Ansaldo Workshops are La Scala’s production centre, where scenery, costumes and everything else that features onstage in our productions is made. At over 20,000m2, it is the world’s largest theatre workshop.
